Starterly helps you look after your sourdough starter and plan your bakes. This policy explains what the app does with information.

Data you enter

Starters, feedings, photos, notes and recipes you enter are stored only on your device in the app's local database. We do not operate servers that receive this data, there are no accounts, and we cannot see your entries.

Data we collect

We do not collect, sell or share personal data. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising and no tracking.

Photos

If you attach a photo to a feeding, you choose it with the system photo picker. Only the photo you pick is stored, on your device.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders on your device for feedings and bake steps. These are not sent through our servers.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Food safety

Guides in the app are general home-baking information. If your starter shows signs of mold, throw it away.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
